Fisher Barton has been manufacturing corrugated knives since 1953 and currently leads the corrugated knife industry. We produce corrugate, converting, recycling, and wood chipping knives, as well as log saws and steel slitters in an extensive selection of designs, metal materials, finishes, and coatings to meet the requirements of diverse applications and tight tolerances.

Engineered Coating Solutions
Industrial coatings take products to the next level. At Fisher Barton, our custom-developed proprietary coatings provide thermal protection, exceptional hardness, and wear and corrosion resistance. Our lineup of engineered coating solutions includes:
- Wear-resistant coatings: Options include carbide, tungsten carbide, chromium oxide, and plastic coatings.
- Dielectric coatings: We offer polymers and oxide ceramics.
- Corrosion-resistant and protective coatings: Prevent damage with cobalt-chromium, nickel-chromium, ceramic-metal (cermet), oxide ceramic, and galvanic corrosion prevention coatings.

We have two proprietary coating processes that provide improvements over other methods. These processes are Fluxfuse® and Fusionbond®. FluxFuse® minimizes distortion and warping associated with typical open-air fusing and provides uniform conditions for adhering thermal-spray wear coatings. Fusionbond® is a post-coating heat treatment in a controlled atmosphere that almost eliminates coating porosity.
