Fisher Barton Names Technology Center Conference Room in Honor of Founder Richard (Dick) L. Wilkey
Comments Off on Fisher Barton Names Technology Center Conference Room in Honor of Founder Richard (Dick) L. WilkeyFisher Barton has named a conference room within its Technology Center in honor of company founder Richard (Dick) L. Wilkey, recognizing his lasting impact on the organization, the manufacturing industry, and the Watertown community. The dedication reflects Wilkey’s vision, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit that helped shape Fisher Barton into a global manufacturing leader.
The decision to name the conference room was made by CEO Scott Hoffman as a tribute to Wilkey’s legacy and the values he instilled from the company’s earliest days—metallurgical excellence, innovation, and a strong commitment to people. A permanent commemorative plaque now serves as a reminder of the foundation Wilkey built and the influence he continues to have on Fisher Barton’s culture and direction.
Located within the Technology Center, the conference room sits at the heart of Fisher Barton’s advanced engineering, testing, and product development efforts. As the company continues to grow and invest in technology, talent, and community, the newly named space honors the past while symbolizing the future built on Wilkey’s original vision.
